HSC and equivalent exam results 2026 to be published today at 11am

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations 2026 will be published officially today, Saturday (31 October), at 11am Bangladesh time. Around 1.27 million candidates across the country have been waiting for these results.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced the schedule in a notice issued on 27 October, signed by its president and Dhaka Education Board chairman Professor Syed Akteruzzaman. Education and Primary & Mass Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon will formally inaugurate the result publication. Immediately after the inauguration, results will be available simultaneously at educational institutions and online.

Students can check their results in three ways: from their own educational institutions, on the board websites educationboardresults.gov.bd and eduboardresults.gov.bd using their roll and registration numbers, and via SMS. To get results by SMS, candidates must send "HSC <first three letters of the board name> <roll> 2026" to 16140.

The results were originally scheduled for 29 October but were later deferred to 31 October. Applications for re-scrutiny of results can be submitted online from 1 to 7 November.

Meanwhile, a Facebook post claiming a "53.23 percent pass rate" went viral before the official publication, but fact-checking has confirmed the claim to be fake. Students have been advised not to be misled by such rumours and to rely on official notices and board websites.
