The body of former air force officer Tahshif has been recovered from the Turag River. He had left home responding to a call from a younger brother-like friend; the next day his body was found in the river. Questions have arisen surrounding the incident — how he ended up in the river, and where his motorcycle went.

It is learned that after leaving home, Tahshif never returned. The following day his body was recovered from the Turag River. No trace has yet been found of the motorcycle he had ridden out on. The motorcycle was not beside the body or anywhere nearby — this absence lies at the heart of the mystery.

The autopsy was conducted at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue. After the autopsy, the body was received by his father, KM Enayetul Karim.

Father's Claim: It Is Not Suicide

His father, KM Enayetul Karim, clearly stated that his son's death was not a suicide. He believes that if the government investigates properly, the culprits can be found. Amid the grief of losing his child, he demanded a fair and impartial investigation.

When asked about the matter, the Home Minister did not wish to comment at this time. The incident is believed to be under investigation, though no formal statement has yet come from the government.

The incident has already sparked discussion. The unnatural death of a former air force officer and the missing motorcycle — the two together have raised many questions in the public mind. However, until the full details of the autopsy report are published, nothing can be said with certainty about the exact cause of death.

According to the family, the bereaved father's hope is that the investigation will bring out the truth. Now it remains to be seen what information the investigation uncovers and how quickly the government moves on that path.
